The Summer Reading Challenge is a free annual holiday activity run by The Reading Agency in UK public libraries to encourage children aged 4-11 to read for pleasure over the summer. Participants set a goal to read six books and collect rewards along the way, helping prevent the "summer holiday dip" in reading skills.
We’re looking for enthusiastic young people aged 𝟏𝟒–𝟐𝟒 to help with children’s events and activities throughout the summer. It’s a great way to build confidence, gain experience, and support your local community.
