Warrington Deaf Centre is the home to Warrington & District Society for Deaf People and Warrington Deaf Hub.
Warrington & District Society for Deaf People are a non-profit organisation who have the main aim of supporting the D/deaf community of Warrington and it's surrounding areas to reduce loneliness and isolation. The activities that Warrington & District Society for Deaf People provide range from 1 to 1 support, wellbeing sessions and training opportunities.
Warrington Deaf Hub run a social club and provide a range of activities. For example, Warrington Deaf Hub are home to two snooker teams, a darts team as well as havingt the facilities for pool and table tennis. They also host a range of events from Deaf Cafes, Comedy Nights, Fundraisers and Grand Bingo events.
Within Warrinton Deaf Centre are a number of other services such as Sarah, from Warrington Borough Council who is a Specialist Community Care Worker for D/deaf people. Sarah can support with arranging adaptive equipment for the home as well as supporting with communication and sign posting to other organisations for different types of support.
