Warrington VIP is a dedicated organisation that provides essential support and social opportunities for visually impaired people, helping them maintain independence and a fulfilling lifestyle. With the use of its own minibuses, Warrington VIP ensures accessible transport for members to attend various activities and events at their centre located within The Old School Project.
Social Opportunities
Lunch Club – Held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, the lunch club offers a warm and friendly space for members to socialise and enjoy a meal together. After lunch, there's plenty of fun with a quiz or bingo, plus a variety of guest speakers and entertainers to keep things lively and engaging.v
Dominoes Club – Taking place once or twice a month on a Saturday, this club offers a fun and engaging activity for members. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just here for the biscuits, expect some friendly competition—things can get surprisingly intense when the dominoes start falling!
Macular Society Meetings – Held on the first Wednesday of each month, these meetings provide valuable information and support for those affected by macular conditions. www.macularsociety.org
Chair-Based Exercise Classes – Run in partnership with the Warrington Wolves Foundation, these sessions are designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing. Open to all members, the classes are fun, accessible, and best of all—finished off with a well-earned sandwich and a brew!
Assisted Day Trips and Holidays – Organised outings and holidays give members the opportunity to explore new places with the necessary support.
