PCNs were desgined to support General Practices in the face of growing pressures, to bring General Practices together with other primary care and community services, and to improve primary care through the introduction of additional services and an expanded workforce.

East Warrington PCN is made up of Padgate Medical Centre, Fearnhead Medical centre, and Birchwood Medical Centre with a patient list size of around 32,000.

All GP practices in Warrington are aligned to a Primary Care Network (PCN), which is a group of practices that work collaboratively in their local community to deliver more coordinated and proactive health and care services.
