About

Welcome to Croft Primary School in Warrington

I am delighted to welcome you to Croft Primary School’s profile.

Choosing the right school for your son or daughter can be one of the most difficult and significant decisions a parent has to make. The success and happiness of every single child in our school is tremendously important to us. As a school we strive to ensure that every child achieves to the best of their ability and we pride ourselves upon the academic standards achieved by all our pupils. However, we also believe passionately that this should not be achieved at the expense of the broad and balanced curriculum that is the entitlement of every child. All our staff are strongly committed to ensuring that our school community is a happy one, in which every child thrives. Indeed, the caring and nurturing ethos of our school is, I believe, one of its defining characteristics.

We also recognise that every child is unique, with their own strengths and abilities. At Croft Primary School, we are deeply committed to giving all of our pupils the chance to shine.

It is these principles which inform the school’s mission statement:

“Working together to inspire, achieve and to realise every child’s unique potential.”

This mission statement also reflects the school’s strong commitment to working in partnership with parents. We recognise, and are grateful for, the high level of support shown by our parents, both for the school as a whole and for their own child’s or children’s learning.

Thanks to the contribution of all those involved with our school – staff, pupils, parents, governors and local community partners – we are able to create an ethos throughout the school where expectations and aspirations are high and all pupils are engaged in their learning through the delivery of a high quality and exciting curriculum. Our pupils are well-mannered, respectful and confident and display positive attitudes to school and their learning.

Whether you are a prospective parent or have a long association with the school, we hope that you will find our school has a caring and vibrant atmosphere in which all children are supported and challenged to achieve their very best. We feel proud of our school and our pupils and welcome visitors to find out why.
