As a school we strive to ensure that every child achieves to the best of their ability and we pride ourselves upon the academic standards achieved by all our pupils. However, we also believe passionately that this should not be achieved at the expense of the broad and balanced curriculum that is the entitlement of every child. All our staff are strongly committed to ensuring that our school community is a happy one, in which every child thrives. Indeed, the caring and nurturing ethos of our school is, I believe, one of its defining characteristics.
We also recognise that every child is unique, with their own strengths and abilities. At Croft Primary School, we are deeply committed to giving all of our pupils the chance to shine.

Thanks to the contribution of all those involved with our school – staff, pupils, parents, governors and local community partners – we are able to create an ethos throughout the school where expectations and aspirations are high and all pupils are engaged in their learning through the delivery of a high quality and exciting curriculum. Our pupils are well-mannered, respectful and confident and display positive attitudes to school and their learning.
