Supporting SEND Families in Warrington Since 2003.

 

At Families United, we are dedicated to supporting local families who care for a child or children with disabilities. Our mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive community where families can find connection, support, and meaningful opportunities to thrive together.

 

We offer a regular programme of family activities designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. In addition, we run a dedicated support programme for parents, which includes:

 

- A peer-to-peer support group

- A variety of health and wellbeing activities

 

our projects and activities vary from month to month but we do have regualr activities such as Family SEN swim, sensory centre and tea and toast mornings for parents. we have some specific projects we run for siblings and for male carers/dads through our Alrightlad? project. 

membership is currently free and is open to anybody who has a child/children with a disability. This could be having recieved a diagnosis or on the pathway to diagnosis.
