What to expect
The building is lower level with cafe style seating. We have a quiet room where you can relax if needed. There is a large garden part covered with seating.
There are various activities available if you would like to join in. Large jigsaw always on the go, board games too. We have fidget/sensory that can be used. We also have art & craft that can brought out if you prefer.
We sometimes have guests who join who will discuss particular topics.
Tea/coffee/juice is provided alongside biscuits.
If you want to come & stay silent that is okay, no one will be bothered by that.
If you are nervous about entering please ask and we will meet you outside.
Don't worry about quirks we all have them you will not be any different to the others.
In general 15-20 people attend - a mix of male & female, also mixed ages. The range of sex and ages is different every week.
The group is led by volunteers and at least one will always be on site.
What does it cost?
We rent the room and request £2 towards rent per person. We don't take note of who pays so don't worry if you cant afford it .
