We provide a wide range of support to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
This is achieved by working in partnership with parents, carers, children, schools and other agencies such as health, social care and the voluntary sector.
A number of significant changes have taken place to the way that services for children with SEND are identified, assessed and supported, which you can view in the Children and Families Act 2014.
One of the requirements of the new legislation was to develop a local offer which describes the services and provision that are available for families and children and young people with SEND and/or disabilities.
Our local offer, is a one-stop shop of SEND information, with a directory of local and national services to support children and young people with additional needs, and their families.
