Little Treasures nursery operate a before and afterschool club for children who attend Evelyn Street Primary school. The breakfast club opens from 7.30am until 9am. During the breakfast session children can have a choice of breakfast cereal, toast and fruit. The children also have the opportunity to take part in play activities and spending time with friends before the session starts.
At 3pm we collect the children from school, at their allocated collection time. The children have the opportunity help prepare healthy foods that they can eat during the session, this encourages children to make make healthy choices that is a good life skill to develop.
The out of school room is well equipped and has a youth club feel. We have a games console, pool table and DVDs for the children to enjoy as well as arts and crafts activities, a large outdoor space for football etc.
The children are fully involved with deciding what activities they would like to do , we use our big ideas book to record what the children have asked to do, and the staff will carry out them out with the children.
The out of school provision is managed by 2 qualified and experienced member of staff, that are first aid trained. Both staff members have a passion for working with our school aged children and have good relationships with the children and our parents.
