Hi, we are the local branch of La Leche League, an international charity that has been providing mother-to-mother breastfeeding support for 70 years.
We offer support:
- to pregnant people who want to learn more about breastfeeding
- to new parents who may be having issues with breastfeeding
- to parents where feeding is going well, but they would like continued guidance and support
- to families with older babies looking at introducing solids
- to parents breastfeeding their toddlers and young children
- to families looking at stopping breastfeeding
We are a supportive and diverse community of parent volunteers, led by two Accredited Breastfeeding Councillors. Whether you need extra support or are just looking for a like minded community, we offer a place to chat and be listened to.
