Celebrate Our Older Generation
About the Day
The International Day of Older Persons (IDOP) was established by the United Nations in 1990 to celebrate the contributions of older adults and raise awareness about the challenges of an ageing population.
This year, we invite you to join us for a meaningful, engaging and fun morning at The Living Well Hub. It’s a chance to honour the contributions of older people, share resources, encourage healthy ageing, and build connections across generations.
So, pull up a chair, grab a cuppa, maybe a biscuit (or even a slice of cake), and settle in for good company and plenty to enjoy.
Come along, stay as long as you like, and let’s make it a morning to remember!
What’s on:
- 🧩 Tabletop activities – relax, chat, and take part at your own pace
- 🎵 The Lifetime Choir – music to lift the room
