How will these sessions help my child to become nursery/school ready?
Personal, Social & Emotional development:
The sessions will build friendships/relationships which allow babies to build self-confidence. Activities such as treasure baskets which build on sensory experiences and problem solving skills. A range of resources that babies can choose for themselves promotes independence and will help them grow in self-confidence.
Physical development:
Activities provided will encourage tummy time ensuring babies build good gross motor skills ready for the next stage in their development such as crawling/walking, children will be able to explore toys and begin to get control of their bodies such as grasping, turning, pulling etc.
Communication & Language development:
The activities provided will look to encourage early language and communication skills, such as copying sounds, watching facial expressions linking sounds to meaning, each session will also include a sing along, action songs are included to help develop their attention and listening.
