Warrington artist Paul Larkin will be exhibiting a selection of his artwork at Holy Trinity Coffee Bar during the week beginning 21 September 2026.
The free exhibition is open Monday and Wednesday, 10am–12pm, and Friday, 10am–1pm.
After experiencing serious mental health difficulties from his late teens, alongside drug misuse, homelessness and hearing voices, Paul struggled for several years to manage everyday life. A turning point came in 1987 when, while in prison, a chaplain encouraged him to try painting as a way to manage his mental health.
Since then, Paul has continued creating artwork.
His greatest artistic inspiration is guitarist Jimi Hendrix,
“I absolutely adore Hendrix, not only for his music and his outstanding guitar skills, but also for the kindness and support he offered to the homeless”.
Holy Trinity’s Coffee Bar has been operating for around forty years offering a welcoming, supportive, warm and accessible place for all to attend. Pop in, enjoy a brew and discover Paul’s inspiring artwork.
