Flowers from Around the World Part 2
These two separate 5-week courses are aimed at enhancing your knowledge and skills to produce arrangements and designs using flowers from around the world. You will already have the basic floristry skills and ideally will have attended previous College/Community floristry courses. During the course you will learn about the culture and traditions that influence designs and colours and create designs that use a variety of floristry techniques. Designs will incorporate sustainability by creating a number of designs without the need to use floral foam. Countries include: India, Japan, Holland, Latin America, French, Scandinavia and Thailand.
- Basic flowers are provided. You will be advised at the first class by the tutor on what sundries you need to bring each week. For the first class, please bring a pair of household or floristry scissors. The College will contact you via email on which country will be covered the first week, and if you need to bring extra evergreen foliage. We request that you provide a current email address when enrolling, so we can contact you. You will be expected to attend each week to achieve all the course aims. Please ensure enrol as least one week prior to the start date, so flowers can be ordered for you.
Materials cost: £25.00 for 5 weeks, which all Learners must pay.
