Join our passionate volunteer team and make a lasting difference to local families with young children. At Home-Start Warrington & Cheshire, we support families facing a range of challenges, such as postnatal depression, isolation, disability, or financial stress, by matching them with trained volunteers who offer regular, compassionate support either at home or in community group settings.
As a volunteer, you’ll receive full, accredited training through our nationally recognised Preparation Course, which equips you with the skills and confidence to support parents practically and emotionally. You’ll also benefit from ongoing supervision, reflective practice sessions, optional training events, and a supportive team environment.
We offer flexible volunteering opportunities to suit different interests, experience levels, and availability. Whether you want to be a home-visiting volunteer, support our family groups, or help in a support role (such as admin, fundraising, or communications), you’ll be part of a values-led organisation that puts families first.
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, especially those with parenting, caring, or lived experience. If you’re empathetic, a good listener, and want to make a difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you.
